since i see taht you express an intrest in linux you might want to visit distrowatch [link] there are plenty of linux distroś there many which will run off the cd without touching your harddrive one of my favorite live cd& #347; are overclockix [link] or beatrice [link] (because it can run on almost anything.

Hehe, I'm posting to myself!

I can't actually draw for my life, I really only subscribed so I could comment on other people's stuff...I WISH I could draw yaoi and I keep practicing, so maybe if I get good I'll post some stuff!

anyway...i wish i was geekier than i actually am: i've tried and failed to install linux on my computer with three different distributions already, so i've lost hope.

have you tried any of the live cd's like knoppix? here is a huge list of them that I found [link] its a huge list. Another question is are you buring the iso's correctly?

yeah, the cds are fine, and it installs fine (usually), and sometimes (if my graphics card doesn't PHR33K 0UT) i can even get into linux...but my modem and sound card refuse to cooperate (I have ADSL...rp-pppoe hates me...I don't know about the sound card). and my graphics card usually does PHR33K 0UT. so, as much as i want to reboot into windows to download whatever software i need, then reboot into linux to *use* it...it's not worth it.

stupid adsl.
